Our Work Placement Programme
Work on real projects, learn about our business and get exposure to a prestigious client list. These eleven month placements in Assurance and Deals and six month placements in Strategy are for students who need to complete a placement as part of their degree. You could even sit a selection of professional accounting exams and leave with a graduate job offer. You’ll then come back into a second year role to us meaning your graduate offer will be a year ahead of your peers.
You’ll work alongside graduate trainees and experienced professionals on everyday projects. So you’ll get a good insight into working life at PwC. Our 11-month work placements in Assurance and Deals start in September and are available at offices across the UK. Our 6 month work placements in Strategy start in Spring, Summer and Autumn.
It doesn’t matter what degree course you’re studying, but you must have a good academic record and be able to show how you’ve used your initiative and team-working skills. You should also have thoroughly researched the area of PwC you’d like to join and the qualification you’ll be taking
What you’d do
You’ll do the same work and benefit from the same training as our first-year graduate recruits, contributing to a range of client projects as part of a highly skilled team. The work can be intense at times – but you’ll have plenty of fun, not forgetting competitive rewards, along the way.
Your training and development:
Hopefully your placement will be the first step towards a full-time career with us. In some areas, you may even be able to start working towards your professional qualifications during the programme, returning to complete your exams once you’ve graduated.
What you need to bring us

  • To be on course for a 2:1 or above in any degree subject
  • A UCAS tariff of at least 300 (or equivalent)*

*Or at least 280 for Forensic Technology Solutions

How to apply
We know that the skills and experiences you develop with us, will stay with you throughout your career. So join us, and we’ll help you reach your full potential.
