Valayo have partnered with a fast-growing syndicate with continued ambitious expansion plans. They are searching for a Senior Portfolio Actuary to support this growth journey.

You will be part of a small team and work closely with the Lead Underwriter and other key stakeholders outside of actuarial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of portfolio performance to ensure profitability
• Work closely with underwriting on risk selection and portfolio management
• Supporting outwards reinsurance programme analysis
• Communicate with external stakeholders and syndicate partners

You will also be involved in ad hoc syndicate projects outside of pure actuarial/pricing. This role would be suitable for a nearly/newly qualified actuary from a pricing or reserving background who is interested in working in a non-traditional environment.
