£40,000 – £55,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Our client, a partner-led Consultancy, is looking for a Trainee Pensions Actuary to join their growing Pensions Consulting team. Working across a range of Corporate and Trustee clients, this role would see you engaging with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Working with more senior colleagues to advise a range of Corporate and Trustee pension schemes
  • Undertaking individual member calculations, valuations and accounting disclosures
  • Reviewing some work carried out by more junior colleagues
  • Opportunities to attend some client meetings and manage delivery of client work
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of clients, providing updates on a variety of issues
  • Opportunities to mentor and train more junior Actuarial colleagues

Skills/Experience Required

  • Part Qualified Actuary making initial progress through the Actuarial exams or non-studier with relevant experience
  • Prior DB Pensions Consulting experience or BPA experience from a Life Insurance role
  • Strong communication skills
