Our client is looking for an Actuarial Assistant to join their Insurance Pricing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to implement DB pensions experience in a technical role within a growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out cashflow valuations of funds, considering buy-in/buyout contracts
  • Produce complex models and undertake calculations
  • Develop understanding of relevant technical issues
  • Use in-house software to prepare data and actuarial bases
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure client deadlines are met
  • Opportunities to mentor and train more junior Actuarial colleagues

Skills/Experience Required

  • Part Qualified Actuary making initial progress through the Actuarial exams or non-studier with relevant experience
  • Prior Pensions valuations experience
  • Strong communication skills
