We are supporting a key General Insurance client in their search for an Underwriting Manager. The Underwriting Manager will manage the performance and profitable development of one of the client’s portfolios as well as contributing to underwriting strategy and enhancing their competitive position in the market.

Additional responsibilities of the Underwriting Manager will include:

• Working collaboratively with other Underwriting teams to deliver medium and long-term underwriting activity and improvements
• Analysing performance, underwriting rules/documentation and make recommendations to improve performance and profitability
• Managing and developing a team to meet business objectives

The Underwriting Manager position would suit someone with 5+ years’ Personal Lines Pricing/Underwriting experience and a solid understanding of Pricing/Underwriting principles.
