We are supporting a key General Insurance client in their search for a Technical Pricing Manager.

The Technical Pricing Manager will explore and use technologies to improve model sophistication and utilise data science techniques to generate profitable business growth. As a Technical Pricing Manager you will be expected to manage project, perform (and review) modelling and interpret results to drive forward a value based pricing proposition.

Additional responsibilities of the Technical Pricing Manager will include:

• Developing sophisticated and resilient actuarial models, analysing results, and providing impactful, innovative pricing solutions
• Creating reports, documentation, and presentations to effectively communicate statistical models and findings to key stakeholders
• Recognising opportunities to enhance existing methodologies by implementing advanced analytical techniques that provide fresh insights and drive tangible operational improvements.

The Technical Pricing Manager position would suit someone with Personal or Commercial Lines Pricing experience. Strong experience of data science techniques in Python or R will be required, knowledge of Emblem or Radar will be highly advantageous.
