Our client, an industry leading Consultancy, is looking for a Technical Actuarial Pensions Specialist to join their growing DB Pensions team. This role would suit someone with some Actuarial experience working on DB Pensions and who is seeking a more technical position, without consulting responsibilities.
This role can be offered from multiple offices across the UK. Hybrid working is offered as standard, but there is also the option to work remotely.
The Technical Actuarial Pensions Specialist can be offered as a full-time position or on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities of the Technical Actuarial Pensions Specialist:
- Contributing technical advice to a range of Corporate and Trustee pension schemes
- Opportunities to work in specialist areas such as GMPe, Risk Transfer, M&As and Asset Liability Modelling
- Focusing on standard and bespoke technical work depending on client needs
- Contributing to bespoke client projects
- Opportunities to mentor and train more junior Actuarial colleagues
Experience Required for the Technical Actuarial Pensions Specialist:
- Part Qualified or Qualified Actuary level – those who have stopped studying or never studied are also encouraged to apply
- Prior DB Pensions experience from a Consulting or Insurance position
- Strong communication skills
