Our client is seeking a Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary to join their Pensions Consulting team as an Actuarial Consultant.

 

This position offers the chance to work with a variety of clients, including house-hold names and FTSE100 businesses, offering advice on a range of issues within the DB Pensions market.

Key Responsibilities of the Pensions Actuarial Consultant:

  • Provide expert advice to Corporate and Trustee pension schemes on a range of issues including GMP, Risk Transfer, Member Options and Investments
  • Review valuations and calculations completed by junior team members
  • Act as day-to-day contact for most of your clients, addressing initial queries and providing regular updates
  • Attend client meetings with senior colleagues, with opportunities to present
  • Mentor and train junior Actuarial staff where appropriate

 

Skills/Experience required for the Pensions Actuarial Consultant:

  • Nearly or Newly Qualified Actuary
  • Experience in DB Pensions Consulting or BPA in a Life Insurance role
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to engage with various stakeholders
