Our client, a partner-led Consultancy, is looking for an Actuarial Consultant to join their DB Pensions Consulting team in Bristol. Working across a range of Corporate and Trustee clients, this role would see you engaging with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.

 

Responsibilities of the Actuarial Consultant:

  • Provide expert advice to Corporate and Trustee pension schemes on a range of issues including GMP, Risk Transfer, Member Options and Investments
  • Leading client relationships with your own client portfolio, providing advice directly and managing work allocation internally
  • Review valuations and calculations completed by junior team members
  • Attending client meetings and contributing to new business efforts
  • Mentor and train junior Actuarial staff where appropriate

 

Skills/Experience required for the Actuarial Consultant:

  • Qualified Actuary or Nearly Qualified Actuary
  • Prior experience in DB Pensions Consulting
  • Strong communication skills
