Our client, a market-leading international Consultancy, is looking for an Actuarial Associate Consultant to join their DB Pensions Consulting team.

Working across a range of Corporate and Trustee clients, this role would see you engaging with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.

Responsibilities of the Actuarial Associate Consultant:

  • Working with more senior colleagues to advise a range of Corporate and Trustee pension schemes
  • Undertaking individual member calculations, valuations and accounting disclosures
  • Reviewing some work carried out by more junior colleagues
  • Opportunities to attend some client meetings and manage delivery of client work
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of clients, providing updates on a variety of issues
  • Opportunities to work in specialist areas such as GMPe, Risk Transfer, Member Options and Investments
  • Opportunities to mentor and train more junior Actuarial colleagues

Skills/Experience required for the Actuarial Associate Consultant:

  • Part Qualified or Nearly Qualified Actuary or non-studier with relevant experience
  • Prior DB Pensions Consulting experience or BPA experience from a Life Insurance role
  • Strong communication skills
