Pricing Actuary sought by a globally renowned insurance broker. Our client are looking for an experienced reinsurance Pricing analyst with a good balance of technical and stakeholder management skills to join their Retro Property Pricing team as a Pricing Actuary.
Due to exceptional growth in their Retro Property books, our client are currently expanding their Retro Property Pricing Team and plan to appoint a Pricing Actuary who can hit the ground running with technical model building, liaising with/presenting to internal and external stakeholders, and manage two junior analysts as direct reports.
Responsibilities of the Pricing Actuary:
- Develop, review and implement Pricing models, being able to justify the reasoning behind your decisions.
- Liaise with and present to both internal and external stakeholders across the business, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor two Actuarial Analysts, conducting performance reviews and upskilling as they progress towards qualification.
Key Experience of the Pricing Actuary:
- Non-Life Pricing experience, ideally within Reinsurance.
- Nearly/newly IFoA qualified Actuary.
- Experience in Python, SQL and R is desirable.
