LCP is an award-winning actuarial and analytics consultancy providing advice on insurance, energy, pensions, investments, employee benefits and health. We fuse human expertise with powerful analytics to shape a more positive future for our clients and people.
The Opportunity:
The Insurance Consulting department advises general insurance companies on reserving and financial risk management by building models to calculate capital requirements, supporting their analytics and underwriting, and helping meet regulatory requirements such as Solvency UK / Solvency II. The work we do involves assessing and quantifying the risks associated with future events to help manage this uncertainty for insurers and ensure they are financially robust. You will get to work across a diverse range of clients writing all types of insurance. This will provide you with a broad spectrum of interesting challenges and problem-solving opportunities.

There are plenty of opportunities for client contact at the beginning of your career, whether by email, phone, face-to-face meetings, or corporate events. You will also have the opportunity to use and support the development of our analytics tools, using R and Python, including our multi-award-winning reserving platform InsurSight.
