Position Overview

We are looking for experienced Calculations Test Analysts with pensions industry experience to join us as we grow our GMPe team.

As part of this role, you’ll be working in Isio’s Actuarial & Consulting team – over 400 pensions consultants and actuaries advising a diverse range of clients and stakeholders across the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Test results and outputs on Pension and Actuarial calculation and data projects.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand the project needs and contribute to the test approach and planning.
  • Define testing requirements, drafting test plans, coverage, scripts and expected results from project documentation and by working with the project team.
  • Execute tests and record results, logging issues and drafting testing reports.
  • Analyse results and identify remedial actions.
  • Ensure the outputs meets the project objectives.
  • Participate in client meetings and project status calls.
  • Support the technical development of our technology platforms through participation in new and/or enhanced developments.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in testing on complex Pension projects including calculations and/or data with end-to-end experience of the project lifecycle.
  • Excellent technical pensions knowledge in Defined Benefit schemes (and legislation) and experience in working with complex Defined Benefit pension calculations testing including GMPe projects.
  • Familiarity with different testing approaches and tools.

Where is the role?

We can offer a range of locations for you to choose from – we have Isio offices in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Croydon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Reading.

We work on a hybrid basis, offering the opportunity for colleagues to split their working time between working in the office and at home.
