Reporting to the Head of Reserving, the role will entail working with the reserving team to deliver the quarterly results
Overview
Key duties (including, but not limited to):
- Ownership of Reserving classes in the quarterly Reserving process, with support from Reserving Manager and Head of Reserving. This will include a technical review and deep dives
- Presentation of draft results to key stakeholders including CUOs and Underwriters
- Input into creation of live Reserving dashboards for ultimate’s, earnings, AvE and other data from the Reserving database
- Reserving data flow into Finance, including Lloyd’s reporting and Solvency II Technical Provisions
Qualifications required:
- Strong exam performance, with progression towards qualification
Experience required:
- Ideally experience in ResQ, basic database queries and other coding languages such as VBA and Python
- Excellent general analytical skills. Intuitive understanding of Reserving and innovative approach to problem solving
