They are looking to hire a part-qualified actuarial consultant with an entrepreneurial streak to join their fast-growing insurance team.
Overview
- This role actively supports client companies on their sites and the candidate would typically spend on average 3 days per week on Client Site, which may be in London, other parts of the UK, or overseas. Willingness to travel on an as needed basis
- You will get the opportunity to interact with senior insurance clients and take on meaningful responsibilities within the team
- This role will be based in London and on Client Sites (which may be in the UK or abroad)

Qualifications required:
- Part-qualified Actuary with significant General Insurance industry/London Market experience in consulting or General (re)insurance roles
Experience required:
- Proven experience of General Insurance reserving techniques and IFRS 17 implementation
- Knowledge of Solvency II or similar solvency regimes, capital modelling, and risk management techniques
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and delivering quality results on time and within budget with a strong client service orientation
- Proven experience in leading a team and delivering projects
- Exposure to General Insurance Pricing techniques
- Proven analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues
- Ability to communicate accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and ideally at least one of the major actuarial modelling platforms (e.g. ResQ, MoSes, Tyche)
- Exposed to one of the coding languages (e.g. R, Python)
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a wide range of projects
