We’re looking for a top-notch ASA qualified actuary to join a growing team in Portland, OR and bring their expertise in the Medicare Advantage space to the table.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of actuarial principles and a love for healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct deep dives and provide key insights on Medicare Advantage offerings, including pricing, risk management, and profitability analysis
• Build and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and financial forecasting
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives forward
• Stay ahead of the game by staying informed on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting Medicare Advantage

Requirements:

• Hold an ASA designation from the Society of Actuaries
• Have at least 5 years of experience in the Medicare Advantage actuarial field
• Possess technical skills, including proficiency in actuarial modeling software (e.g. Prophet, MoSes, etc.)
• Be a standout communicator, able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to non-actuarial stakeholders
• Show strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects and hit deadlines with ease
