Leading professional services firm Towers Watson plans to acquire the investment office Oxford Investment Partners (OXIP). After a long advisory relationship, the acquisition will allow Towers Watson to expand its investment execution capabilities and strengthen its leadership position in the Fiduciary Management market. The sum with which Towers Watson intends to acquire OXIP is undisclosed.
Chris Ford, EMEA Head of Investment at Towers Watson, stated: ‘We have been the sole investment adviser to OXIP, and a member of its investment committee, since its establishment in 2006. This acquisition is testimony to the continuing strength of our relationship with OXIP’s investment professionals, who will all remain engaged in managing the OXIP funds.’
