The Actuarial Research Centre (ARC) is the international centre for the furthering of actuarial science based in Scotland, the ARC will create a bridge between actuarial research and business.
This exciting new research initiative that has been established by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in partnership with the Scottish Financial Risk Academy (SFRA).
The ARC works by supporting students from academia and the actuarial profession from around the world by providing PhD scholarships and access to academic and commercial sponsors with the right experience to oversee and guide them in their research. The ARC will therefore contribute to the profession and the wider financial services industry through a combination of published and valuable research and the generation of a steady stream of technically highly skilled researchers.
